The event is called Bicigo and will take place from next Thursday, November 29 until Sunday, December 2, in the Corferias center of Bogotá.

Holland will be the guest of honor and will share its experience of using bicycles in the first edition of Bicigo, which will bring together more than 100 exhibitors of this sport, according to the official website.

"We Dutch people share with you Colombians a great passion for bicycles, and that is precisely why we are here, to tell our story," said Dutch ambassador Jeroen Roodenburg, the EFE agency cites.

The Netherlands is a world reference in the use of the bicycle since it has 35,000 kilometers of bike lanes, and the majority of its population uses it daily for transportation.

During this event, 20 companies in the European country will sell their products and share the health and environmental benefits of using this vehicle.
